About

From the lab bench to the cast deck.

Structural engineer and researcher with over six years of experience spanning seismic column behaviour, offshore platforms, railway bridges, and advanced composite reinforcement systems — working across India and Canada.

Currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher through the Mitacs Accélération program at the Université de Sherbrooke, partnering with Sym-Tech Béton Préfabriqué Inc. to bridge research outcomes with precast concrete industry practice.

I previously completed a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at Sherbrooke under the Tier-1 Canada Research Chair in Advanced Composite Materials for Civil Structures, supported by the NSERC program. My doctoral research evaluated the seismic performance of fiber-reinforced concrete columns with hybrid longitudinal reinforcement — pairing conventional steel with Glass Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars to push ductility and corrosion resistance beyond what either material achieves alone.

Before Sherbrooke, I spent a year at Worley India designing offshore structural components — flare booms, monorails, and WPP topsides — in SACS, and another at IIT Hyderabad proof-checking railway bridges and pre-engineered buildings across the country.

Experienced in applying ACI, AISC, CSA, and IS design provisions to real-world projects, with a strong drive for streamlining engineering workflows through custom tools and automated calculations.
